Profile
Data and AI leader with about twenty years turning complex, messy data into decisions — and into teams and systems that keep producing them. I've built the data function from scratch at a carsharing scale-up, shaped data strategy as a consultant, and delivered analytics across public and private sectors. Equal parts strategy and hands-on.

Experience
Drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation, enable scalable AI implementation, and lead innovation and emerging-technology initiatives — building and developing the team that delivers it.
Built the data function end to end — ingestion, ETL, data lake / lakehouse, BI and advanced analytics. Single-handedly stood up the first data warehouse (Databricks), then hired and led 3 data engineers and 3 data scientists, and mentored 11+ interns from prototype to production. Shipped geospatial insights, fraud detection, demand forecasting and GenAI workflows.
Championed data to improve the driving experience at GetGo; at NTT DATA, shaped clients' data strategy and management frameworks and designed end-to-end analytics proofs-of-concept (warehouse optimisation, geospatial, precision medicine).
Teach Big Data platforms, streaming analytics, neural networks / deep learning, data visualisation and project management for data projects.
Architected the Safety Regulation Group's analytics platform; led the SPARC initiative coordinating IATA, FAA and MITRE; developed novel data-collection methods and document clustering on safety hazard reports.
Managed an S$800k innovation budget and a team of 6, overseeing analytics projects across cyber security, HR and smart urban infrastructure, plus reusable playbooks, frameworks and toolkits. Earlier delivered an expert system for the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Owned the supply-chain-finance analytics roadmap; built a credit-risk rating algorithm to accelerate funder credit checks and used AWS Lambda for high-speed data extraction.
Deployed predictive and computer-vision models (Python, XGBoost, Random Forest, scikit-image) on cellular, Wi-Fi and image sensors for immigration checkpoint congestion monitoring.
Co-led the company building technical foundations and product alongside senior leadership.
